The world has gotten absolutely batshit crazy over the last 10 years. The political situation here in America has become untenable as we slip deeper and deeper into fascism and authoritarianism under the administration of Donald Trump.

I created this blog to give me a space to write some thoughts and opinions on what's going on in the world in politics. Writing can in some cases provide me with a semblance of control in a world that feels like it's spinning out of control.

I write short posts, long pieces, will share weekly what catches my eye in the news. My words might not shift the balance of the world, but I try to be thoughtful and honest.
